Welcome to El Arepazo, the first and only Venezuelan restaurant in Minot, North Dakota. We are a family-owned and operated business that aims to bring the culture and values of our homeland to this city. We have been living in Minot for 10 years and working in the oil fields, but we never forgot our roots and our passion for sharing our stories.​Our restaurant is named after the arepa, a cornmeal bread that is a staple of Venezuelan cuisine. The arepa can be stuffed with different fillings, such as cheese, meat or beans. We make our arepas fresh every day, using authentic recipes and ingredients. We also offer other delicious dishes that showcase the diversity and richness of our home but El Arepazo is more than just a restaurant. It is also a cultural hub, where you can learn more about Venezuela’s history, art, and social movements. We have decorated our restaurant with Venezuelan flags, paintings, instruments, and souvenirs that reflect our identity and heritage. We also play Venezuelan music, from traditional folk songs to modern pop hits, to create a lively and festive atmosphere.
